Science is Everywhere
Welcome to Mr. Trimble's website! I currently teach STEM Makerspace, Robotics 1, and Robotics 2 in the CTE Engineering Technology program at Hood River Valley High School. I have also taught Physics, Chemistry, Patterns Physics, and Math. I am developing dual-credit courses in Advanced Engineering and Drone Technology. I also coach our VEX Robotics Club, have a bearded dragon, publish scientific research, and run a YouTube channel.
An Australian desert reptile lives inside our classroom here in the cold, rainy Pacific Northwest. Groot the Bearded Dragon teaches students about herpetology and the effects of IR & UV radiation on cold-blooded animals. Like any hip Hood River lizard, Groot's favorite meal consists of live Argentinian dubia roaches with a side salad of fresh kale and arugula topped with local organic mealworms.
